FlightSync sources real-time flight data via commercial API, updated every 15 minutes, for the next 48 hours. There is no manual data entry, no CSV uploads, and no dependency on staff availability to keep screens current.
Ground control and operations staff manage all active flights through a straightforward web interface, accessible from any desktop or mobile device. Departure and arrival status workflows, Scheduled, Delayed, Boarding, Final Call, Closed, Departed, Cancelled, are managed with full manual override and estimated time adjustment at every stage.
Gate assignment is handled automatically by aircraft type or carrier, with manual override available. For single-gate operations, the gate field can be hidden entirely.
Technical architecture.
Beyond the flight board. FlightSync integrates full digital signage capability on the same screen network as flight data. Publish council messaging, local events, tourism content, and commercial advertising alongside departures and arrivals, all managed from the same interface, scheduled in advance, and updated remotely without on-site intervention.
Built for lean teams. Three-tier user access, Viewer, Operator, and Administrator, means the right people have the right level of control without sharing administrative credentials. A ground crew member can update flight status from a mobile device; the airport manager retains full system control. No specialist IT staff required.
Resilient by design. FlightSync is a progressive web application hosted by Entwined, no on-premise servers to maintain, update, or replace. In the event of a connectivity interruption, local caching ensures screens retain current flight data until the connection is restored.
Security & support.
FlightSync is underpinned by Entwined's ISO 27001 certified security framework and deployed on a Chrome Enterprise Recommended device environment, independently verified standards that meet the growing IT security requirements of aviation operators.
All FlightSync customers receive Entwined's Ultimate support tier. Our Australian-based team uses deep device telemetry, via our proprietary MyEntwined platform, to resolve most incidents remotely, without dispatching a technician. Support service levels are contractually defined, with a two-hour first response SLA.
