Digital signs play a very important role in getting your brand messaging and promotions to your customers, and with digital signage systems such as digital menu boards becoming more ubiquitous, we wanted to provide you with some simple steps to clean and disinfect your Entwined digital signs.

While your passive digital menu boards and signs do not pose a high risk of being a source of transmission of COVID-19, your interactive or touch-enabled digital signs may be of a higher risk. These cleaning steps will help you keep both your passive and interactive digital menu boards and signs clean throughout this pandemic.

Cleaning your Digital Menu Boards and Signs

1. Use a commercially available non-ammonia glass or disinfectant cleaner.
2. Apply a small amount of cleaner directly to a microfiber or a similar disposable towel or cloth-be sure the cloth is damp and not wet.
3. Use of alcohol-based wipes or sprays containing at least 70% alcohol to disinfect screens. Dry surfaces thoroughly to avoid pooling of liquids.
4. Do not apply cleaner directly to any interface and do not wipe the plastic surrounding the glass.
